Owing to the horrible weather conditions we stayed in the harbour of Pescara. A shame as we had forecast and simulated for such unforeseen events.

An example? How to get out of the cage in an emergency. Although this structure is perfect it is necessary to approach it in a professional manner. Can you imagine a cage sinking into the blue sea just because a shark has cut the rope it is fastened to? It could become a real trap. And the diver has to choose between either falling down into the deep sea or getting out of the cage surrounded by sharks feeding and biting.

Because of this we must also test the safety devices in bad situations.

That's what we are going to do until the middle of May, when the real expedition starts.
